- Take Back The Night 2024Apr 18, 2024 4:00 PM | Co-Curricular Model: Holistic Wellness & Self-Efficacy Organization: Student Health & Counseling Services Take Back the Night is the earliest worldwide movement to stand against all forms of sexual violence and has been hosted at CSUSM for nearly 20 years as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Take Back the Night 2024 will be a safe, supportive space for storytelling and learning. The event will include a keynote speaker and a campus march. It will conclude with a survivors’ circle, in which attendees sit on the grass with tea lights and a portable microphone is passed around for anyone to share their story. All survivors, supporters, and allies are welcome. Please join us as we shatter the silence and stand with survivors at Take Back the Night 2024. - CSUSM Theatre presents FAILURE: A LOVE STORYApr 18, 2024 7:00 PM | Organization: School of Arts By the end of 1928, all three Fail sisters will be dead -- expiring in reverse order, youngest to oldest, from blunt object to the head, disappearance, and finally consumption. Tuneful songs, and a whimsical chorus follow the story of Nelly, Jenny June, and Gerty as they live out their lives above the family clock repair shop near the Chicago River, before their time unexpectedly runs out.
