CSUSM Medical Services
Most medical services offered at Student Health & Counseling Services are covered by your pre-paid student health fee of $75 per semester and require no co-payments once you come in.

Women's Health

Women's health services are available to all CSUSM female students.Our physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, health educator and support staff are trained in the provision of women's health.

  • Information and education on sexuality

Men's Health

Men's health services are available to all CSUSM male students. Our physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, health educator and support staff are trained in the provision of men's health including:

  • Physical examinations
  • Health concerns
  • Urinary/Genital Exams
  • Screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
  • Testicular exams
  • Instruction in testicular self-exam (TSE)
  • Prostate exams
  • Information and education on sexuality

Male physicians are on staff and can be requested.

Laboratory Services

Laboratory services are available during regular SHCS hours of operation. SHCS offers available lab tests at low or no fees to students:
