Badrani Honored by San Marcos City Council
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – NCAA Division II National Champion Rasha Badrani of the Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team was recognized and honored by San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones and the San Marcos City Council on Tuesday night.
Badrani, a San Marcos native, recently won the NCAA Division II National Championship in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships, matching her program-record time of 52.92. She was subsequently named the NCAA Division II West Region Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Year and a first-team All-American by the USTFCCCA.
