Badrani Earns Second Consecutive FloCollege/CCAA Track Athlete of the Week Honor

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos' Rasha Badrani was voted the FloCollege/CCAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Rasha Badrani continued her hot start to the outdoor season with two NCAA provisional marks and two school records at UC San Diego's Triton Invitational. She broke the 12-year-old school record in the 200-meter with a time of 23.85 seconds. It was 0.57 seconds faster than the previous record set by Amber Rosario in 2013 and .65 seconds faster than Badrani's previous best time. 

On Saturday, Badrani became the NCAA Division II leader in the 400-meter hurdles as she broke her own school record with a time of 57.79 seconds – 23rd all-time in Division II history and 1.51 seconds faster than her record time last season.
