CSUSM Sees Four All-CCAA Honorees

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team had four student-athletes earn All-CCAA honors with Natalie Paulson named to the first team, Emma Calvillo named to the second team, and Natalia Huntington and Danielle Paulson named honorable mentions, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Natalie Paulson took home first-team honors for the second time in her four years at CSUSM after being named an honorable mention last season. The defender from Long Beach capped off her collegiate career with two goals (one game-winner) and an assist this season while starting all 17 games.

Calvillo recorded nine shutouts in goal during her campaign as a redshirt freshman, leading the CCAA. The Chino Hills native made 40 saves for the season while facing 132 shots and allowing 11 goals at a rate of .688 per game – ranking second in the conference.

Huntington was named an All-CCAA honorable mention for the fourth consecutive year after leading the Cougars with four assists and scoring one goal in 17 starts as a midfielder. The Rancho Palos Verdes native has now been named an All-CCAA recipient more than any Cougar in program history.

Danielle Paulson earned her second career honorable mention nod after being named to the first team last season. The Long Beach native concluded her final season at CSUSM with two goals (one game-winner) and an assist as a defender while starting all 17 games.
