The Cal State San Marcos women's cross country team placed 20th out of 33 teams at the Lewis Crossover on Saturday in Romeoville, Illinois, scoring 485 points. Senior Angela McManus led the Cougars with a top-10 finish in a competitive 6K field.
FINISH LINE
- McManus placed ninth overall out of 335 runners with a time of 21:49.13, leading CSUSM and earning top-10 honors.
- Liberty Miller finished 100th in 23:04.19.
- Melissa Estrada crossed in 109th place with a time of 23:09.15
- Maria Texis placed 122nd in 23:19.37.
- Carmella Baldwin rounded out the scoring five in 173rd place at 23:47.85
- Chloe Quezada (195th, 24:07.69) and Gabriella Romero (197th, 24:07.85) completed the top seven
