Nunez Dominguez Named to D2CCA All-West Region First Team
PORTLAND, Ore. – Efren Nunez Dominguez of the Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team was named to the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-West Region first team, the association announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The redshirt junior midfielder previously earned All-CCAA first-team honors after concluding the 2025 season with a team-leading 10 goals, six assists and 26 points. His goal total tied for the conference lead while his point total ranked second. Both totals tied CSUSM's single-season records and were the most by any Cougar since transitioning to NCAA Division II in 2015.
This is Nunez Dominguez's third honor of the postseason as he was also named to the CCAA All-Tournament team after scoring two goals and earning two assists in the Cougars' runner-up finish at the tournament.
Nunez Dominguez is the second Cougar in program history to earn D2CCA All-West Region honors and is the first to be named to the first team.
