TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team made the most of a rainy day as it wrapped up the 2024 CCAA Track & Field Championships by medaling five times in four events on Saturday at Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium on the campus of Stanislaus State.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- Rasha Badrani took gold in the 400-meter hurdles as she broke her own school record with an NCAA provisional time of 59.30. Mia Salinas took bronze with a third-place time of 1:02.40. Badrani also finished the 100-meter hurdles with a sixth-place time of 15.22 earlier in the day.
- Trinity Barr took silver in the high jump as she tied for second with a height of 1.58 meters, earning CSUSM seven points.
- Rachelle Zilavec took bronze in the javelin throw with a distance of 38.22 meters and earned the Cougars six points.
- The 4x100-meter relay team of Orchid Concha, Isabel Ortiz, Devin Yarbrough and Rasha Badrani took bronze with a third-place time of 47.99 seconds.
- Carly Shuerger gained CSUSM five points in the 1500-meter run with a fourth-place time of 4:43.95.
- Devin Yarbrough took fourth in the 100-meter dash at 12.34 seconds, earning the Cougars five points. Orchid Concha gained CSUSM a point with an eighth-place time of 12.79.
- Ana Moreno and Emma Mills scored for CSUSM in the 800-meter run with sixth- and eighth-place times of 2:23.06 and 2:34.66, respectively.
- Jordyn Brooks scored a point for the Cougars in the triple jump with an eighth-place mark of 10.28 meters.
- CSUSM finished up the meet with a fifth-place performance in the 4x400-meter relay at 4:02.55.
