COURSE REPORT: The Cal State San Marcos women's golf team claimed the team title at the 2025 East Bay Fall Invitational after posting a three-round total of 32-under 896 at Stonebrae Country Club in Hayward, California, on Monday and Tuesday. The Cougars surged on the final day, shooting a tournament-low 7-under 295 on Tuesday to secure the win over a competitive 15-team field.
FIRST TEE
- Avery Foster led the Cougars with a third-place finish, carding an impressive 3-over par 219 (76-73-70), including a 2-under final round. She tallied 11 birdies and one eagle during the tournament.
- Kiara Hernandez placed eighth with an 8-over par 224 (74-75-75), notching 11 birdies and ranking among the top performers on par-5 holes at 6-under.
- Ellaclair Leedom tied for 15th at 12-over par 228 (73-77-78), contributing seven birdies and 33 pars.
- Chloe Rahn and Abby Sickles both tied for 21st at 15-over par 231. Rahn (81-77-73) had nine birdies and one eagle, while Sickles (76-78-77) added 10 birdies and 23 pars.

- CSUSM captured its third team title of the fall with a total score of 32-over 896 (299-302-295), finishing 10 strokes ahead of second-place Simon Fraser's 906 (291-312-303).
- Carlota Eroles of Cal State East Bay and Lauren Lee of Western Washington shared individual medalist honors, each carding a 3-under par 213.
- CSUSM led all teams in birdies with 48, including 11 each from Avery Foster and Kiara Hernandez.
- Avery Foster and Chloe Rahn each recorded an eagle during the tournament, contributing to CSUSM's strong par-5 scoring.
