COURSE REPORT: The No. 10 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team is two-strokes behind leader Hawaii Pacific (293, +5) after carding a 7-over 295 on day one of the Sonoma State Fall Invitational on Monday.
FIRST TEE
- Madison Murr is in a four-way tie for first place after turning in a 1-under 71 on Monday. Starting on the first hole, she tallied three bogies before collecting her first birdie on the eight hole and finished with three birdies on the back nine.
- After a clean 36 on the front nine, Makenna Cabardo tallied three consecutive bogeys but finished the round strong with birdies on the 14th and 18th holes. She is tied with Dominican's Claire Shubin for seventh place with a 1-over 73.
- Regan Barton turned in a 3-over 75 and is tied for 15th while Diana Delgado followed with a 4-over 76 and tied for 23rd.
- Lauren Hickam rounded out CSUSM with an 8-over 80 and is in 43rd place.
