CSUSM Drops Three-Set Match To Biola in Seawolf Invite Finale
ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (1-3) battled through two tight opening sets but ultimately fell 3-0 (27-25, 26-24, 25-16) to Biola (2-2) on Saturday afternoon in the Seawolf Invitational at the Alaska Airlines Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars opened with a 14-10 lead after a pair of kills from Lewis and a Seligmiller ace. Biola responded with a 7-2 run to regain control. CSUSM fought off two set points, but the Eagles closed it out 27-25.
- CSUSM surged ahead 20-17 behind back-to-back kills from Kranz. Biola countered with a late 5-1 run to go up 24-22. The Cougars tied it again at 24-all, but the Eagles sealed the frame on consecutive kills.
- Biola pulled away midway through with an 9-2 run to take a 19-9 lead and never looked back to conclude the sweep with a 25-16.
