CSUSM Falls in Three in Home Opener to Colorado Christian
AN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (1-4) fell in straight sets (25-20, 25-17, 25-18) to Colorado Christian (3-3) on Thursday afternoon at The Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- First Set (25-20 CCU): CSUSM kept it close early, tying the score at 6-6 before Colorado Christian used a 5-1 run to pull ahead. Despite a late push, CCU's .333 hitting percentage proved too much.
- Second Set (25-17 CCU): After tying the set at 10-10, CSUSM struggled to contain CCU's attack. CCU went on a 7-2 run and hit .346 in the frame to take control.
- Third Set (25-18 CCU): CSUSM rallied late to close the gap to 19-17, but CCU responded with a decisive 6-1 run to finish the match. CCU hit .414 in the final set.
